Netta C. Bartholomew Anderson was one of the first six women to graduate from Augustana College, earning her degree in 1894. This collection relates to various members of the Swanson family, whose patriarch, David Verner Swanson was a minister in the Augustana Lutheran Church. Miriam May Zwicker was born in Rock Island, Illinois, in 1915. She attended Rock Island High School and graduated in 1933.
